Asentive
Overview
Asentive is a design consultancy and creative talent partner created to help organisations improve digital products, strengthen design operations and access high quality creative capability in a flexible way. I conceived, positioned and built the venture from the ground up as a hybrid model that combines strategic design consultancy with an on demand talent partner service. The aim was to create a premium, credible platform that could support both product performance and team capability without the overhead of traditional agency or recruitment structures. From brand to digital presence to operational assets, the project focused on shaping a business that felt established, trustworthy and ready to operate from day one.
The Challenge
The core challenge was to design more than a brand. I needed to define and articulate a new type of offer that sat between consultancy, agency and talent partner. Many organisations struggle to improve digital product performance while also accessing specialist creative skills quickly and compliantly. At the same time, building large in house teams is not always viable. The task was to translate this gap into a clear service proposition and a business platform that felt premium, structured and operationally robust, while still flexible enough to scale with demand. This required aligning positioning, services, brand perception and practical tools into one coherent system.
Brand strategy and identity
I developed the Asentive name, positioning and identity around themes of ascent, alignment and incentive. The brand needed to signal growth, partnership and forward movement rather than transactional service. I crafted a confident visual identity that balances consultancy credibility with creative energy, using a bold, premium palette, layered organic forms and a clear typographic system suited to both strategic and talent focused messaging. The result is a distinctive identity that stands above typical recruitment or agency aesthetics and reinforces the idea of Asentive as a long term partner invested in client progress.
The web experience
I designed and structured a focused marketing site that clearly communicates the dual nature of the offer. The experience guides visitors through the consultancy services, the talent partner model and the working process, making a complex hybrid proposition easy to understand. The design balances clarity and authority with a modern, design led feel, supporting the premium positioning and building trust with both client organisations and creative professionals. Every section of the site was shaped to reinforce credibility, outcomes and partnership rather than simply listing services.
The visual system
The visual language extends the core identity into a flexible system of shapes, overlaps and motion inspired forms that represent collaboration, progress and interconnected teams. These elements are used across digital and presentation materials to create a sense of movement and shared growth. The combination of colour, form and spacing creates a recognisable and ownable aesthetic that feels both structured and human, supporting the positioning of Asentive as a partner that works alongside organisations rather than operating at a distance.
Brand governance
I produced a comprehensive set of brand guidelines to ensure consistency as the venture scaled. These covered logo use, colour systems, typography, imagery approach and application of the visual language across digital and business contexts. The guidelines translated strategic intent into practical rules, enabling the brand to be used confidently across website, presentations, social channels and documentation while maintaining a premium, cohesive presence.
Service and business collateral
To support commercial credibility, I designed the full suite of supporting business assets. This included a detailed services presentation, a structured business plan, legally compliant service agreement templates and a CRM framework to manage client and talent relationships. These tools ensured that Asentive was not just well presented but operationally ready, with the structure and documentation expected of an established consultancy and talent partner from launch.
Social and brand rollout
I extended the brand into social and early marketing touchpoints through a set of branded templates, channel setup and initial content direction. The rollout ensured that Asentive appeared as a cohesive, credible business across every public touchpoint. Consistent visual and verbal tone helped reinforce the premium positioning and made the venture feel active, considered and trustworthy from the outset.
Final Thoughts
Asentive launched as a fully formed business platform rather than an early stage concept. By combining brand, service design and operational structure, I created a venture that demonstrated the potential of a hybrid consultancy and talent partner model. The project reinforced the importance of designing the business alongside the brand, especially when introducing a new category blend. Even with limited long term operational focus, the foundations built provide a strong base for future growth, partnership and potential scale.
